Are you actually tired?
Go to sleep.
If not, shut down that excuse! Nothing great was ever made blissed out on a cloud. Creating is destructive. You sacrifice a piece of yourself to bring forth a work of fiction.
In that way it is childbirth, but don’t take that metaphor too far and begin to feel protective of the fiction.
Set it free.
Your fiction belongs to the world, and they alone will judge its merits. Do not waste your energy on the “what if” value judgements. You own the work that creates the fiction. You do not downplay the response to the fiction that comes from society.
They were never your words anyways. They always were, in the aether. You merely received the words via transmission and translated them for everyone else to read.
Thank you for your contribution. Now get back to work.

WARNING: This book is not intended for those with a sensitive disposition, there are several other excellent books that are less blunt. Instead, I have published this for fellow authors like myself, who need to be called out for their possible hubris and sometimes thick-headed nature.
