I wanted to know if my new sleep schedule would drastically improve my productivity. Specifically, I’m seeking to increase my productivity by 1,000% and plan to use my published word count as the measuring stick.
Coming off the horrible week where we were under rolling blackouts, I’m not surprised to receive this card.
“You may need to fight against a feeling of depression.” This might as well be my card every day, though I have learned to master my black dog. I don’t always succeed, but I processes in place to prevent it from biting me in the ass.
Overall, I’m not sure I can take a full decision away from this card. I knew going into this change that it would be hard and I would suffer for upwards of eight weeks while my body transitioned, but I still hold to the medical research that this will prove beneficial for me long term.
Dig deep, find my internal grit, and stick with the new sleep cycle. It’s only 6:30 and I’ve already accomplished as mush as I do on an average day. The house is quite, and I find myself writing with more clarity every minute that passes.
